In a candid Instagram video, they shared, “We learned about construction and took a hard process of building ourselves with no bank funding.” Their determination and hard work paid off when they finally opened their doors in August 2023, with Loic Sany at the helm as executive chef.

After receiving a $4,000 tip from Lee, the founders decided to give back to the community by providing 200 meals to customers, showcasing their commitment to service and gratitude.
However, the journey has not been without setbacks. Just as they were gaining momentum, the original H Street location suffered a devastating fire. In the face of adversity, the team remains resilient, using half of the tip to help repair the damages and continue serving their loyal customers.
